Description of program

Ideal for people who love the outdoors, and want to work in paradise, this program is available at the Pacific Islands Club (PIC) on the tropical island of Guam (US).

PIC is a 792 room resort situated on Tumon Bay, Guam. It has a 22 acre water park and extensive recreational facilities including a swim-thru aquarium, water basketball and water volleyball, windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving, snorkeling, waterslides, squash, racquet ball, badminton, indoor and outdoor tennis, basketball, archery, putter golf and driving range, bungee trampoline, jacuzzi, kayaks, beach volleyball and more.

This program recruits ‘Clubmates’, whom are the PIC’s front line recreation staff and work in the SEA (Sports, Entertainment, and Activities) department.  They act as lifeguards monitoring the pools and beach, organise activities, teach lessons, maintain equipment, and provide entertainment for the guests.

Positions also incorporate the instruction and participation in sports, including tennis, archery, volleyball, basketball, swimming, aerobics, windsurfing, sailing and Kids Club activities. There are a number of responsibilities and roles that a clubmate must engage in, and no two days will ever be the same!
