So, how does this all work and what do I need to do, we hear you ask?

Register Your Details

After selecting the program option that best suits and interests you, simply register your details with International Fusion.

This may include submission of your current resume or just be a request for program information.

Initial Consultation

An International Fusion consultant will then make a follow up call to discuss your specific needs and career goals, and answer any questions you may have.

Program Acceptance

Once program criteria is met, your account will be activated, and a program initiation fee will need to be paid to secure your position. The following application documents need to be completed in full and sent to the office;

• Detailed resume
• Photo
• Application form completed in full
• Scanned copy of educational and professional qualifications
• Details of 2 referees
• Scanned copy of your passport (should you NOT have passport, you have ample time to organize this before you go)
• Scanned copy of any previous US visas
• Signed terms and conditions
• Submit a national police clearance check

Incomplete paperwork may result in processing delays.

Phone Interview with Prospective Employer

International Fusion will schedule a phone interview for you with your prospective employer; this is usually with the General Manager and / or Human Resources Director.

All relevant information regarding the employer and interview details will be provided to you beforehand to ensure you are well prepared.

Your International Fusion consultant will notify you of the outcome of your interview as soon as possible.

Legal Documentation

Upon a successful outcome from your interview, International Fusion will send you the following documents;

• Your personalised Training Agreement
• Your personalised Training Plan

These documents define and outline your working conditions, duration of employment and responsibilities for applicants, along with any employer specific requirements. You are required to sign this document to indicate that you understand and accept the conditions of employment.

These documents all need to be signed and either scanned or faxed back to International Fusion. You will also need to send the signed originals back to International Fusion via post, and an essential step in order to proceed with your Visa issuance.

Final Processing

Once all documents have been submitted and reviewed, they will be sent to the sponsor in the United States for final processing.

Please note that it can take around 2 months for the entire process.

This timeframe is dependent upon International Fusion receiving the completed paperwork as well as how long it takes to set up a visa appointment with the United States consulate.

Interview with US Consulate

International Fusion will assist you in making the appointment with the designated US Consulate in your country. This is a face to face interview and is an integral element in obtaining your Visa.

Arrival Co-ordination

International Fusion liaises with your employer throughout the entire process and keeps them updated on your application status. Upon successfully receiving your J1 visa, your employer will be notified of your arrival details.

On-going Support

International Fusion provides on-going support throughout the program to both you and your employer. An International Fusion consultant is always available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, should you need support. Your US Visa sponsor provider is also accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week for local support in the US.
